Environmental technology
Odour substances are generated wherever organic material is handled, whether in waste water or solid
substrate. This results in smell nuisance, health hazards and pollution of the environment.
The problems in detail:
- As industrial and residential areas merge, noxious odours are no longer tolerated.
- The demands on odour-producing facilities are increasing in line with the German Federal Immission
Control Act,
and there is a growing environment-consciousness among the public.
- Odour-producing facilities trigger protests and legal disputes.
- Constant noxious odours lead to physical problems for both animals and humans.
- It is frequently not possible to take preventive measures in order to reduce odour immissions.
- Acids, ammonia and hydrogen sulphide are also present in the process exhaust air from composting and
substrate works, causing unpleasant odours. They lead to smells perceived as unpleasant.
- This results in an increased greenhouse effect, acidification of soils and respiratory diseases in humans
and animals.
Our innovative solution in the biological-enzymatical treatment of exhaust airs is the
